Sad Tidings

December 22, 2012
Dear readers,
I am truly grieved in informing you that my dear Duchess has passed on from this life. This happened 2 weeks ago.
We only had three and a half short weeks together, but she grew very, very dear to me, I am lost without her.
I have been grieving for her, have been in a near constant state of distress, crying a lot.
But somehow, through this grief, I have realized that she is not so far away after all. She is still in my heart, and also in a way, in spirit. Now, I am not claiming that I am a medium of any sort, but their are moments when I can feel her presence, her love, her reassurance. Sometimes she will guide me when I am in the depth of despair and I simply can not get up, or even just when I need a little comfort and reassurance.
One resource that really helped me is rainbow bridge. It gave me hope, condolence, and support. Here is the link if you too are grieving a pet. http://www.rainbowbridge.com

As life goes on, I still try to find happy moments, beautiful moments, I have gotten a new bunny sense then, Fern, who I love incredibly, but I will always miss you Duchess.

I am very sorry to not have been blogging, and I am sorry to be sending this message on the last day of this beautiful year in which I had 3 and a half weeks together, but I felt I needed to post this before I moved into the next year.
I am crying as a wright this so please excuse grammatical and spelling mistakes.

I love you Duchess, and someday we will dance together again in heaven. God bless.

Welcome Duchess!

Last week, I got a bunny(rabbit, but I call them all bunnies what ever the age)! We had decided to get a bunny because I have always wanted one, and I have been rather lonely recently, so we decided that it was time.
We went to the MSPCA because I think that they are an amazing organization and I had always wanted to support them and bring home an animal that needs a home.
There were lots of bunnies there as well as dogs, cats, birds, ginny pigs, and other animals, all well kept and seemingly in good health, the ones having medical problems being treated!
The staff was all friendly and very helpful and they all seemed dedicated to get the right animal to the right forever home!
Thank you so much MSPCA for bringing us together!!!

So, this is my new bunny Duchess! She was called Buddy, but that was just not the right name for her, so I renamed her. She is 2 years old, white JerseyWolly with red eyes.
She is beautiful and I love her!
I hope that we will be the best of friends.

Any bunny tips or tricks for me? Please comment! I would really appreciate it!

Cute photo apps~

Recently I have been playing around on my phone a lot with purikura and photo apps (not to mention a good deal of games as well but...)
I wrote a post a while ago about how I like purikura apps, but photoshop is better quality. While I still think that is true, photoshop is just so... troublesome and takes so much time and effort.
Purikura apps are convenient, and I can tweet them directly from my phone which is easy! Some of them also have nice social networking and most of the ones I use have really cute decos to decorate your pictures with! While you can draw your own, sometimes it's fun for it to be convenient and appreciate other peoples work!
Here are some of the apps I currently use (though some of them not very much).

Now I will share with you some of my favorite picture sharing/decorating apps!

 Let's start with Instagram!
Everyone knows and loves instagram, and I think it has one of the biggest social networks. However, I like to "adorableize" my pictures and I like a larger verity of filters then Instagram offers, so I usually edit my picture on a different purikura app first and then also add it to instagram, linking it to my twitter from there.

Snapeee! I think Snapeee is one of the most adorable purikura apps out there, and they have lovely social networking too! You have the ability to dub other users pictures "Great!" "Kawaii!" "Yummy!" and "Like!", as well as favoring and commenting. If you aren't very feminine, this probably won't be your cup of tea, but this is a very adorable app for those seeking cuteness! Best of all, it's FREE!!

Rakuga Cute (樂画Cute) is very Cute indeed! I love their stickers and this is one of my favorites!! (Then again, all of the ones I am showing you are my favorites but... (^_^;)) Rakuga Cute has a certain enchanting "my most treasured scrapbook" feeling to it and is my go-to for "lovely" deco. You can share to twitter/facebook etc. but it has no social networking of it's own. Rakuga Cute is also FREE!

Decopic is another adorable decoying app! I love using this app when I want really "cute!cute!cute!" stickers. This app just makes fluffy and sparkles come together in perfect harmony. Again, you can share to twitter/facebook etc. but it has no social networking of it's own. It's also FREE!

PrincessCam~!
This was my first ever purikura so of corse it holds a special place in my heart.
I really do like this app, it has a very sweet innocence to it. It really does live up to it's name of "PrincessCam" as the settings are so lovely and the photos come out soft and feminine. This app does cost money, but you will most certainly be happy with it!

I hope my reviews where helpful to you!
You can find my Instagram and Snapeee from my twitter

That is all for now! ByeBye~

My Deviant Art!!!

Hello butterflies!
I got a deviant art account!! Yay!
I don't really have much on it at the moment, I would put up some of my previous work up on it but I have lost almost all of it in a computer switch! (TT-TT)
It is so sad.
But I will post it if I ever find it!!
So please note that gallery hasn't really had that much time to grow yet (so far there are only 2 peaces) and my artistic style looks quite different then what is in my sketch books. I shall be working on filling out a little more!
Please check it out!

My Little Ponys!!

Last weekend I went to a yard sale and look what I found!!
My Little Ponys!!!
And for an incredible price! I got all these ponies along with a lot of random accessories for 10 dollars!!!!!! Thats amazing!!!
I have been into the Generation 4 My Little Ponys (friendship is magic) for a while now and I'm sad to say that I wasn't really as fond of the other generations, but after getting a box of them and really getting to see them and work with there hair, I have a new appreciation for all generations of MLP!!
The one down side to getting them at a tag sale, there hair is in AWFUL condition! (>.<) The girl who they belonged to previously took decent care of them, but clearly played with them (with is natural, they are cute toys to be played with). However, like most toys with synthetic hair, it's really bad. I actually like this though!! I wanted to learn to be able to restore wig hair, and what better to practice on then cute ponies? I've already finished washing the mane and tail of one pony and it's amazingly soft compared to how it was!! I'm looking forward to posting the before and after pictures!!
If you see any ponies you recognize, please help me!! I am very unfamiliar with anything but the G4 ponies (exempt for pinky-pie), and I actually question wether some of my ponies are My Little Ponys at all!
Now more pictures!! I have taken individual pictures of every pony for the before and afters, but for now I will just post the group pictures of each "type" of pony!

That's all for now, bye-bye~

Purikura on Photoshop vrs. on iPhone

(The picture on the left is edited with PrincessCam and the picture on the right is Photoshoped)

I have recently been seeing lots of posts about good apps to use on the iphone for purikura.
Thank you so much!! It's great to see other peoples reviews on products! I'm a teenage girl, I don't really have that much money to spend, so it's nice to see what other people think of different apps so I can buy just the ones that are really going to work for my purposes.
My favorite purikura app at the moment is PrincessCam! I think it's adorable!
I think that it's really cool that there are so many purikura apps for the iPhone because it's good for on the go, it's a great detraction for the waiting room, and it's wonderful for people like me who don't have purikura near them! However, I've noticed that they can really decrease the quality of the picture. I think they're great for iPhone photos but when I take a picture with my good camera and then edit it on my mobile phone it often ends up really grainy compared to the original because it no longer has as many pixels as before.
In reading some of these posts, I saw a lot of people comment that photoshop is to hard or complected for them to do purikura on. I agree that photoshop is very difficult to understand at times, but I feel that the results of the quality of the pictures I do on photoshop are much better then any I do on my phone. You also have a lot more options on photoshop on what you can do with your picture!
I love the iPhone apps dearly but I love photoshop just a little more!

Pixar's BRAVE cultural differences in language

So I went to see Pixar's Brave a few days ago and it was AMAZING!!

Awwww... I want to be a Pixar animator when I grow up again, haha, I want to be so many things when I grow up, I don't know how I'm going to chose. Well, I guess I better start practicing!

I love love love Merida, she is my new favorite princess~

So, of coarse like any other fan, when I got home I immediately looked up all sorts of Brave stuff on youtube.

One thing I thought was really interesting where the trailers. I found this interesting because in the English version of the move, the trailer indicates that the plot line is more about not being what others want you to be and the fight for freedom.

However, the Japanese trailer was much more about the consequences of our actions. It also had a lot more to do with nature and magic and not angering nature. Another interesting thing is that in Japanese it seems that the name of the film is not actually "BRAVE" but "Merida and the Frightening Forest". This also relates to the fact that the Japanese trailer has much more to do with nature. I have attached the videos so you can see for yourself!

English

Japanese

What about other languages? Are they different too? I'd love to hear, so please comment~

The animals where so cute!!
Here are the pictures from that day. All the pictures were taken by Lynda Shoup

Doesn't this sheep look like a little furry cow? It was so adorable~
