Last night I went to see the movie "Hugo", which is based on the book "Hugo Cabret" by Brian Selznick. I really enjoyed it! I've always loved the book, and now I love the movie too. I also look forward to reading his new book "Wonderstruck"! The movie was AMAZING, you should definitely go see it if you can!

Me with the movie poster

Me with my (signed) copy of the book

I went to a book signing of his a while ago and he signed my sketchbook!

Caroling for cans and old drawings

I'm in my school's chorus and last night we did this thing in my town called "Caroling for Cans" which is a really cool thing that we do to raise food and awareness for our local food pantry! Unfortunately I don't have any pictures, but I thought it was a cool thing to share!

I was looking through some old sketch books today, and look what I found! Christmas themed pictures! These are SOOOOO old, I can do better now, but I still kinda like them. They bring back old memories.

Hoped you enjoyed

Christmas Ornaments from Tohoku Grandmothers

Christmas post number 3!
This was an event going on that I found a poster for! It's called the Grandma Project. When Japan was struck by those horrible earthquakes, some Grandmothers from the disaster area started making Christmas Ornaments out of old fabric.  unfortunately I was not able to go to this, but I think it's really cool!

If you can this Christmas season, try to in some way help! Buy something from Japan, visit, or donate to the Japan Red Cross. Enjoy the gift of giving!

Hello Kitty Door Ordainment~

Hi Gals! It's December 2nd and time for my next post!
This is my Christmas Hello Kitty door ornament.  Isn't it cute?

If you can't tell, I am obsessed with Sanrio~ I was lucky enough to go to Sanrio land for my 7th birthday. I still, in high school, wear my Hello Kitty backpack proudly. I also love Mimi, My Melody, Cinnamon Roll (and friends), Coco, Keropii, and the rest of Kitty's friends~
That's all for today, bye~bye~
